As you know, Outward Bound is a powerful and positive experience. With your generosity, young people in Philadelphia, who othrwise could not affort to, will have the opportunity to challenge themselves, enjoy the wilderness of the southeast, and clarify their personal values related to the four pillars of the North Carolina Outward Bound School: Physical Fitness, Self-Reliance, Craftsmanship, and above all Compassion.

Your gift helps provide scholarships to young people in Philadelphia who otherwise would not have access to the Outward Bound opportunity. Our partnerships with Philadelphia schools and youth organizations ensure we identify motivated scholarship recipients. We have partnered with the following community organizations: Community Academy of Philadelphia, College Access, and Steppingstone Scholars, as well as a number of Philadelphia area schools. Your gift will help us provide many young people in Philadelphia with the opportunity to develop the character and leadership that is needed in our world today.
