Dear Ms. Svitek,

I want to say thank you very much for offering me this wonderful experience I had for twenty-one days. This journey taught me a lot of things and helped me develop skills. I learned how to tie knots that I would have never learned without Outward Bound. I got a chance to backpack, rock climb, and whitewater canoe. I slept outside through the good and bad weather. We had lightening drills and were told how to react when something may occur. They showed me how to use a map and compass. We cooked our own food and carried our own weight. We each had to be strong and contribute something to overcome our obstacles. Most importantly, Outward Bound taught me how to be self-reliant and showed me that I was a loving and caring person. Once again, thank you.
