Kate I Knew

I knew her when she was young
Her smile was ear to ear
All full of life and fun
You can tell she was a dear

She loved to play outside
Kate always on the run
Brother Michael at her side
Both were so much fun

Her dad I knew from PSU
Her mom was a lovely one
Drew and Steve were there too
Ellen always kind to every one

We knew she was a prize
She grew so fast and strong
Kate had plans to live
God took her away too young
